LA Dog Dispatch ("we," "us," "our") operates ladogdispatch.com, a platform that coordinates urgent dog rescue across Los Angeles County. LA Dog Dispatch is powered by Hot Girls Care Nonprofit, a Los Angeles-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Hot Girls Care is the legal entity responsible for donation management, fund oversight, and organizational compliance.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you voluntarily provide when you:

Sign up for alerts or newsletters — name, email address, phone number, Instagram handle
Apply to foster a dog — name, email, phone, location, housing type, household details
Register as a rescue organization — organization name, contact information, rescue credentials
Sign up as a transporter — name, email, phone, availability, vehicle information
Sign up as a social sharer — name, email, Instagram handle

We also automatically collect standard server logs including IP addresses and browser information when you visit the Platform. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Send urgent dog alerts via email or SMS when new dogs are added to the euthanasia list
Match foster applicants with dogs needing placement
Coordinate transport logistics between shelters, fosters, and rescues
Contact rescue organizations about dogs matching their criteria
Send platform updates and newsletters (only if you opted in)
Improve the Platform and fix technical issues

We will never use your information for purposes unrelated to dog rescue coordination without your explicit consent.

4. SMS Communications

If you provide your phone number and opt in to SMS alerts, you consent to receive automated text messages from LA Dog Dispatch. These messages will contain information about urgent dogs and rescue coordination updates.

5. Donations & Payment Information

Donations are processed by GiveButter on behalf of Hot Girls Care Nonprofit, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit that powers LA Dog Dispatch. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card information. GiveButter's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled. Please review it at givebutter.com.

Donations to specific dogs, the LA Dog Dispatch general fund, or Hot Girls Care directly are all managed under Hot Girls Care Nonprofit's nonprofit status.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information in limited circumstances:

With rescue organizations — if you apply to foster or transport a dog, relevant details may be shared with the rescue coordinating that dog's placement
With service providers — we use Twilio for SMS delivery and GiveButter for donation processing. These providers receive only the data necessary to perform their services
Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect the safety of animals or people

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the services you signed up for. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@ladogdispatch.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including encrypted database storage and secure HTTPS connections. However, no system is completely secure. Please contact us immediately at hello@ladogdispatch.com if you suspect any unauthorized access.
